PRESENTATION OF THE COMPANY

The company was established by František Zelinka as a natural person in 1991 with the main subject of business "Production of tools" that started to concentrate step by step on production of precise cutting, bending and forming of tools and on purchase of new technologies. In 1993 the first industrial design was registered for the machine with a"type designation SA"25-03 for semi-automatic lamella cutting of interior blinds. In 1995 manufacture of rolling machines started in the company that resulted in bringing a"compact machine with an industrial control system on market in 1999 that comprised several working operations at the same time. In 1997 it was started with production of technological pressed pieces from plastic material, pressing of sheet parts on eccentric presses and rolling of aluminium profiles. New machine generation of machines for production of shielding technology commenced in 1999.

In January 2004 a"limited liability company ZEBR"s.r.o. was founded and in the course of this year and in the first quarter of the year 2005 a"complete transformation from the original natural person to a"new legal entity was carried out.

The company ZEBR s.r.o. is an only European producer that deals by its manufacturing program, KNOW-HOW, software and manufacture of devices with both branches – interior and exterior shielding technology and solves completely its problems. The company ZEBR became a world leader in the branch of machine producers for shielding technology due to its technical level of innovated products in the last year.

It provides its support to producers of shielding technology based on needs of consumers from simple small tools up to complicated technological lines with a very high degree of automation inclusive provision of software designated as Z-IP, pro production control both in individual workplaces and in the whole firm.

The company has approx. 75 employees. Production is split into two workshops – a machine shop and a press shop. Productions is equipped with up-to-date technologies, a great part of the profit is invested into development of new machines of own construction and into purchase of new equipment. It meets demands of customers that are more and more demanding by its permanent modernization and technical development which is reflected in success both in domestic and also in foreign market.

The year 2004 proved to be also as an important strategic decision when it was decided to terminate production of tools and moulds for various industrial branches. This year the management of the company has set a new development concept in which it was decided to concentrate only on shielding technology. It consisted in the change of actual entrepreneurial conception where the production was concentrated on many various activities. In the course of three years the new long-term entrepreneurial conception appears to be right.

The strategy how to achieve the best effects in the field of development of machines for production of shielding technology creates a part of this conception. It consists in creation of a strong development and technological centre that puts new technological complexes be used by manufacturers of the blinds on the market. A top technological equipment of the machine shop allowing to implement proposed technical solutions by own means is another condition. The portfolio of the products includes also sale and installation of the Z-IP information system.

Since 2004 lot of technological complexes were put on the market whose intellectual property is protected by many utility or industrial models in the company.

Except for development and production of machines and equipment there are also several separate groups focused on shielding technology produced in the workshop PRESSING SHOP. Mr. Zelinka produces components for production of standard interior blinds from the beginning of his activity (1991). The parts of the system were chosen accidentally and the main suppliers were from Sweden.

In 1998 he started with production of object security systems against insects by means of solid frame nets. In 1999 it was started with the development of Eurodesign interior blinds in cooperation with an entrepreneur from northern Moravia. In the course of years these activities were permanently developed. Nowadays we belong to the greatest producers of components for insect nets in Central and Eastern Europe. In 2007 we have finished development of a new type of the interior blind under the trade name ZEUS.
